Powering global women-focused innovation

Founded in 2019, the FemAging Project delivers research, education, insights and other resources to help drive the development of innovations that meet the unique health, wellness and well-being needs of women.

The Project has two areas of focus

Delivering
for Women
Ages 40+

Producing insightful original research, engaging in innovation acceleration and other activities to support innovations for women ages 40+.

Closing the
Women’s
Health Gap

Working to close the women’s health gap by delivering personalized insights to innovators via our AI-powered assistant Femmaya, producing events packed with actionable learnings and more.

Belief

The FemAging Project was born with a fundamental belief: ‘women’s health encompasses more than just fertility.’ When the project was founded in 2019, the majority of women’s health products and services focused on women of childbearing age. Few solutions were being developed for women ages 40+.

Evolution

To tackle this problem, we published first-of-its-kind research on the health, wellness product preferences and needs of women between the ages of 40 and 65. This research led to the identification of a new industry segment: FemAging. In 2023, we released our latest FemAging HealthTech report, supported by AARP.

Support

In addition to original research, we are working to support innovators developing solutions for women ages 40+.
For example, to date winners of our Fast Pitch competitions have received more than $40,000 in cash grants and $200,000 in professional services.
